System layout of the complete car

Except the engine control unit the complete electronics for the control and regulation of all relevant systems in the entire vehicle was developed in-house:
• Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) as the „master” of all systems is connected with all control devices via CAN-bus and controls, among other things, the transmission and the differential
• Engine control (ECU) controls mainly the mixture formation and the ignition. Beside this, the unit is used for the traction control, the launch control and the drive-by-wire system also.
• ABS control unit for controlling the braking force
• Interface Control Unit (ICU) controlls all the components of display and steering wheel via I²C bus
