Body based on a BMW 320, factory code E30

The stock body of a BMW E30 was modified considering the upcoming FIA regulations. The most difficult task was to solve the conflict of the total weight vs. the torsional rigidity in the best possible way. The integration of the essential axle kinematics points for each link of the suspension increase the complexity of this task further.
So it was only through the use of high strength steel and ingenious design of the individual components to obtain a satisfactory overall result.
